Conditions or Reasons:
1) (1) The extraction of minerals shall take place in an orderly manner. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (2) The floor of the quarry to be levelled. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (3) The overburden to be removed and stored and to be replaced after the extraction of minerals. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (4) After the replacement of the overburden the excavation shall be restored by the planting of grass, trees or shrubs, to the reasonable satisfaction of the Planning Authority, and the whole area shall be left in a neat and tidy condition. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (5) The sides of the excavation shall be finished to a slope not exceeding 60 degrees from the horizontal. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (6) The restoration of the excavation area shall be carried out within a reasonable time from the cessation of the extraction of minerals in any part of the area. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (7) The area to be excavated shall not exceed that shown pink and blue on the plan. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development. (8) No plant shall remain on the site of the excavation longer than is necessary for the restoration thereof. REASON: The preservation of amenities and to secure well planned development.
