The proposal by way of its size and siting would have overbearing impact and cause a significant loss of light to the adjoining property contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policy DPS6 of the Deposit Draft of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan. 2. The proposal would not preserve or enhance the character and appearance of the Conservation Area contrary to Policy BE14 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policy CBE11 of the Deposit Draft of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan.
