The proposed extensions, by nature of their size and design, would lead to a cramped form of development to the detriment of the visual amenities of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997. 2. The proposed extensions, by nature of their siting and design. would have an adverse impact on the setting of the adjacent Grade I Listed Building; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy CBE2 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997, as proposed to be changed.
