Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/03/01026
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal, by reason of its scale, bulk and visual impact would constitute an unacceptably assertive development in the street scene which is out of character with the vicinity. It would therfore be contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Strucutre Plan 2011, Policies BE11 and H9 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit (and Proposed Modifications).
2) If permitted, the proposal would create a precedent whereby it would be difficult for the District Planning Authority to resist similar proposals to the further detriment of the locality.
