1) 1. The development will, by way of its scale and siting, result in an unacceptable overbearing impact and loss of light to the window in the first floor side gable of the neighbouring property contrary to the 1997 Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit (as proposed to be changed). 2. The development, by way of its scale and siting will unbalance the existing symmetry of these modest pairs of chalet bungalows and lead to an undesirable `terracing' effect to the detriment of the character and appearance of the Conservation Area, contrary to the 1997 Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed), Policy CBE11.
