Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/03/01376
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would, because of its height, massing and unsympathetic design, result in a cramped form of development with the potential for visual terracing and loss of privacy from overlooking, which would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the streetscene and have an adverse impact on the amenity of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011, Policies H9 and BE11 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan, Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit (and Proposed Modifications) and Development Control Practice Note 2: Extensions to Houses.
