Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/03/01650/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension, by reason of its juxtaposition in relation to adjoining private gardens, would result in a material loss of amenity by reason of overlooking and loss of privacy. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies BE11 and H9 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit (and Proposed Modifications).
2) The proposed extension, by reason of its bulk, scale and massing is considered to be harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene and is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011, Policies BE11 and H9 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit (and Proposed Modifications).
