The proposed extensions and alterations, by nature of their siting, scale and design, would have a significant loss of light and overbearing impact on the adjacent dwelling at no. 15 Silver End Road; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997.
