Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/04/00185
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would, because of its size, siting and incongruous design, be out of character with the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the locality and would be harmful to the visual amenities of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed development would, because of its size, bulk, siting and unsympathetic design, appear unduly obtrusive and result in an unacceptable loss of privacy of the adjoining properties. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
