Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/04/00205/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development would, because of its height, massing and unsympathetic design, appear unduly overbearing and result in loss of light to Number 72 Luton Road, which would be harmful to the amenity of its residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed dormer window and rear extension would, because of their height, massing and incongruous design, adversely affect the appearance of the site and the visual amenity of the streetscene. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
