1) The extension proposed by reason of its size and siting would have an overbearing impact on the amenities of the adjoining property Sandown, 14 Garner Close, and would give rise to an unreasonable loss of sunlight to the kitchen window at that dwelling. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policy DPS7 of the Draft Deposit Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan incorporating Pre-Inquiry changes.
