Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/04/01016
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed dwelling would, because of its size and positioning, be out of character with other properties in the locality harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H2, H6 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The application site is too restricted in size for the proposed development which would appear cramped in relation to adjoining buildings and out of character with the surrounding area. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies 8 and 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H2, H6 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
