Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/04/01362
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal would constitute an unsatisfactory form of development bearing no relationship to adjoining residential development and would have a detrimental impact on the visual amenity of the area and the appearance of the street scene. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) If permitted, the proposal would create a precedent whereby it would be difficult for the District Planning Authority to resist similar proposals to the further detriment of the locality.
