Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/05/00107
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal would constitute an unsatisfactory form of development having an unsatisfactory relationship with adjoining residential development and would be detrimental to the amenities of that adjoining development. The proposal is therefore contrary to the principles of good design set out in Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policy BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed development would, because of its size, bulk and siting, appear unduly obtrusive and overbearing and result in an unacceptable loss of light/overshadowing of the adjoining property. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
