Conditions or Reasons:
1) The application site lies within the Silsoe Conservation Area and the proposal would neither preserve nor enhance the character and appearance of this part of the Area. The proposal would introduce a poorly designed, incongrous form of roof extension into an otherwise well designed building and as such the proposal is contrary to PPG15 and Policy CBE11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be changed.
