Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal, if permitted, would be harmful to the amenities of the occupants of No. 72 Barford Road by reason of an overbearing impact on the subject property. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies DPS5 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed) 1997.
2) The proposal, if permitted, would be harmful to the amenities of the occupants of No. 72 Barford Road by reason of a loss of light to the subject property. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies DPS5 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft ( as proposed to be changed) 1997.
3) The proposal, by reason of its scale and massing, unacceptably impacts on the street scene and is subsequently detrimental to the character and appearance of the area. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policies DPS5 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed) 1997.
