Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extensions and alterations to create a two storey dwelling and detached double garage would, because of their size and bulk and prominent siting of the garage, result in an intensification of built development on the plot which makes a significant contribution towards the openness and semi-rural street scene of the designated Moor End Area of Special Character. It would result in a more urbanised form of built development within the street scene, harmful to its character and that of the locality. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies BE8 and BE6 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
