Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/02/01183/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension would result in excessive building bulk abutting the boundary to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene and the amenities of adjoining residents; as such the proposal is contrary to policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended.
2) The proposed extension, by nature of its size and design, represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene and the amenities of adjoining occupiers; as such the proposal is contrary to policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended.
3) The plans submitted as part of the application do not accurately reflect the existing dwelling at the site making it difficult to assess the visual relationship between the proposed extension and the dwelling.
