Conditions or Reasons:
The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character of the area and the streetscene by introducing a substantial building into the front garden of the property. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS 6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended, and is contrary to the supplementary planning guidance for house extensions and alterations adopted by Mid Beds District Council in 1997.
