Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/03/00832/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal by reason of its location and height would give rise to a terracing effect which would be detrimental to the streetscene. As such the proposal is considered to be contrary to Policies DPS5 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft 1997 as proposed to be amended and to supplementary planning guidance entitled "House Extensions and Alterations - A guide for Applicants" 1997.
2) The proposal, by reason of its height and location, would be unacceptably overbearing in relation to the outlook from the adjacent dwelling. As such the proposal is considered to be contrary to Policies DPS5 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft 1997 as proposed to be amended.
