Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/03/01893/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed garage, by nature of its size in comparison with the original dwelling, would result in a disproportionate addition in a Green Belt location where restrictive planning policies apply; as such the proposal is contrary to Policies GBT1 and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) Incorporating Post Modifications 2003.
2) The garage with overhead workshop is of an excessive scale so that, in its proposed location it would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character of the area and the amenities, outlook and privacy of the occupiers of the residents at 'Springwood'; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan Adopted 1993 and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) Incorporating Post Modifications 2003.
