Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/03/02018/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension, by nature of its size and design, represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene and the amenities of adjoining occupiers; as such the proposal is contrary to policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended.
2) The application site lies within the Steppingley Conservation Area and would detract from the character and appearance of this part of the Area; as such the proposal is contrary to PPG15 and Policy CBE11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be changed.
