Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/03/02108/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension by reason of its scale and design would have an adverse impact upon the character and appearance of the existing house and Blunham Conservation Area. This would be contrary to Policies BE1 and BE14 of Mid Beds Local Plan 1993, Policies DPS6 and CBE11 of Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft Incorporating Pre-Inquiry Changes 1999 and the Council's Supplementary Planning Guidance: House Extensions and Alterations 1997.
2) The proposed extension by reason of its scale, siting and massing would have an adverse impact upon the amenities of neighbouring properties by reasons of overlooking and overbearing impact. This would be contrary to Policy BE1 of Mid Beds Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS6 of Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft Incorporating Pre-Inquiry Changes 1999.
