1) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character of the area and would appear overly dominant in the street scene; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1999 Incorporating Pre-Inquiry Changes.
