1) The proposed side extension, by nature of its size and design, represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene, as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) Incorporating Proposed Modifications November 2003.
