1) The proposed extension, by nature of its size and siting represents an unacceptable incursion into the streetscene and harmful to the character of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) Incorporating Pre-Inquiry Changes 1999 and Policy BE1 of the adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review.
