Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed front facing dormer window and two-storey rear extension, by reason of their unsympathetic design and visual impact, would constitute an unacceptably assertive development, which would appear incongruous and out of character with the dwelling. The proposal would detract from the character and appearance of the dwelling and of the area as a whole, and is therefore contrary to the principles of good design as set out in Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
