1) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would cause a loss of light and overbearing impact to the adjacent property at number 12 Pear Tree Close; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993; Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended; and Mid Bedfordshire District Councils Adopted Supplementary Planning Guidance: House Extensions and Alterations 1997
