Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed garage, by nature of its siting and relationship with adjacent plots, constitutes an undesirable intensification in depth of the existing frontage to the detriment of the streetscene resulting in undue harm to the character and appearance of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Beds Local Plan 1993, Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended and Supplementary Planning Guidance ' House Extensions and Alterations - A guide for Applicants' adopted 1997.
