Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/04/00604/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed erection of a hipped roof dormer onto the rear elevation of this bungalow would by reason of its size, design and siting appear as an overly large and incongruous addition to the roof out of keeping with the character of the bungalow and the pair of bungalows. This would be in conflict with Adopted Mid Beds Local Plan Policy BE1 and Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft Policy DPS6.
2) The bungalow is situated in a visually prominent location at a road junction within the Conservation Area where such a large addition to the roof would be to the detriment of the visual amenities of the Conservation Area. This would be contrary to Adopted Mid Beds Local Plan Policy BE6 and Mid Beds Local Plan Poicy CBE11.
