Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal would unacceptably harm the amenities of the occupiers of No. 44 Howberry Green by reason of an overbearing impact and a subsequent loss of light and outlook from the proposed bungalow on Plot 1. The development is therefore considered to be contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed) 1997.
2) The proposal represents a cramped form of development which would be detrimental to the character and appearance of the area. The development is therefore considered to be contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed) 1997.
2) The design of the proposed dwellings is unacceptable and would result in an incongrous form of development which would have an adverse effect on the character and apperance of the area; contrary to PPG 3; Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993; and Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (as proposed to be changed) 1997.
