Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/04/00774/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed front dormer window is an out of keeping with the streetscene and would provide an alien feature in the terrace in which the site sits therefore unbalancing it and resulting in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of the streetscene; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 2003 as proposed to be amended.
2) The proposed rear dormer window is of an excessive scale and is of a design that would have an overbearing impact on the property and would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 2003 as proposed to be amended.
