Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/04/00796/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension by reason of its width and detailed fenestration is unsympathetic to the proportions of the original dwelling and would have a detrimental impact on the character and appearance of the property and would not preserve or enhance this part of the Conservation Area, contrary to Policies BE1 and BE14 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan (1993) and Policies DPS5, DPS6 and CHE11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review: Deposit Draft as proposed to be Modified (November 2003).
2) The proposed extension by reason of its bulk and close proximity to the boundary would have an unduly overbearing impact on 3b Laburnham Road. As such the proposal would be contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review: Deposit Draft as proposed to be modified (November 2003).
