Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/04/01222/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The application site lies within the Sandy Conservation Area and, given the poor quality design, would detract from the character and appearance of this part of the Area; as such the proposal is contrary to PPG15; Policy BE14 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy CBE11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be changed.
2) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended.
3) Adequate provision cannot be made within land controlled by the applicant for the parking of vehicles clear of the public highway to the detriment of the safety and convenience of users of the highway; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 1993 and Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be changed.
