Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/06/00045
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review seeks to ensure the retention of adequate separation between buildings which, in the case of a two storey extension and the property boundary, should be a minimum of 1 metre. The proposal does not show this degree of separation, would result in cramped development and would be both visually obtrusive and overbearing, detracting from the visual amenity of neighbouring occupiers, the appearance of the house, adjoining houses and the character of the area. The proposal is contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies BE8 and H8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
