1) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the amenities, outlook and loss of light to adjacent residential properties; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan (1993) and DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft incorporating Proposed Modifications (2003).
