Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/04/01584/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character of the area and the amenities, outlook and privacy of the occupiers of nearby residential properties; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS5 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended.
2) The proposed extension, by nature of its size and design, represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the character and appearance of the property and the amenities of adjoining occupiers; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review (Deposit Draft) 1997 as proposed to be amended and Technical Planning Guidance on Extensions and Alterations adopted 2004.
