Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed two storey extension, by reason of its size, siting and design, represents an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling out of keeping with its character and appearance which would be to the detriment of the visual amenities of the street scene. This would be contrary to Policy BE1 of the Adopted Mid Beds Local Plan and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft (Proposed Modifications). It would also be in conflict with Extensions and Alterations : A Design Guide for Householders (Technical Guidance to the Local Plan First Review which has been adopted by the Council for development Control purposes).
