1) The proposed extension is not subservient to the main dwelling resulting in a detrimental impact to the character and appearance of the area and as such is contrary to the aims and objectives of this council's Technical Planning Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders 2004 and Policy DPS 6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review Draft Deposit incorporating Proposed Modifications.
