Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal, by reason of its positioning and design, does not respect the original character and appearance of the building and is not subservient to the existing dwelling. As such, this proposal is contrary to Policy BE1 of the Mid Beds Local Plan (1993) and Policy DPS6 of the Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Deposit Draft incorporating Proposed Modifications (2003) and therefore it is not acceptable.
