1) The proposed rear dormer would result in an undesirable and unacceptable form of development such that it would have an adverse impact on the character of the area; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan (2005) and Mid Bedfordshire District Councils Technical Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders (2004).
