Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/06/00031/OUT
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposal constitutes an undesirable form of piecemeal tandem development inappropriate to and at variance with the prevailing character and form of development in the vicinity, as such the proposal is contrary to Policies DPS5 and H06 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 2005.
2) The proposal by reason of its siting and relationship with adjoining plots would be likely to result in an unacceptable degree of overlooking and loss of privacy to the detriment of the amenities currently enjoyed by existing occupiers, as such it would be contrary to Policies DPS5 and H06 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 2005.
3) The proposal by reason of its siting in close proximity to the edge of the village envelope would fail to provide scope for adequate buffer landscaping and would have a detrimental impact on the visual appearance and rural character of the locality, contrary to Policy DPS11 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan 2005.
