Conditions or Reasons:
1) The development results in the enclosure of a section of land that, by reason of openness and potential for landscaping, would otherwise serve to soften the visual appearance of the area. The loss of the land and the erection of the fence, by reason of siting and height, appears intrusive and out of character in the street scene, to the detriment of the visual amenity of the locality. The development is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies BE8 and R12 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
