1) The proposal, by nature of its size and siting would result in an unacceptable enlargement of the dwelling to the detriment of the amenities of the adjoining dwelling no. 27 Weavers Green; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan adopted 2005 and Adopted Supplementary Planning Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders 2004.
