Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/06/01328/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension, by nature of its size and the extent of previous additions to the original dwelling, represents an unacceptable cumulative addition to this property in a rural location where restrictive planning policies apply. This enlargement and the extension itself would change the scale and character of the property, as such the proposal is contrary to Policies DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005.
2) The proposed two storey side extension has not been set back by one metre from the front of the property and the extension has not been set down from the ridge of the existing dwelling as such the extension will not appear as being subservient to the existing house and will therefore be in conflict with this Authority's Technical Guidance to the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005. It will also be in conflict with Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005.
