Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/06/01756/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extension, by nature of its siting on the boundary between a detached dwelling and a pair of semi detached dwellings has the potential to create a terracing effect to the detriment of the character and appearance of the streetscene; as such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005 and the Council's Technical Planning Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders 2004.
2) The proposed garage by nature of its siting to the front of the property is intrusive in the street scene and detrimental to the character and appearance of the streetscene. As such the proposal is contrary to Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review 2005 and this Authority's Technical Planning Guidance Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders 2004.
