Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/06/00612/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed extensions would, because of their size, siting and appearance, result in a disproportionate increase in the size of the original dwelling so being inappropriate in and affecting the openness of the Green Belt. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 24 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies GB1 and H13 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The proposed development would, because of its incongruous design, be out of character with the existing dwelling and other similar properties in the locality, harmful to the visual amenities of the street scene and of nearby residents. The proposal is therefore contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
