Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/07/00637/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) By virtue of its size, design and location the proposed extension would dominate the existing property and is not adequately subordinate, moreover it would have an adverse impact on the appearance of the dwelling which is located in a prominent position in the street scene contrary to the provisions of Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan, First Review, Adopted December 2005 and adopted Technical Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide for Householders.
2) The first floor rear extension proposed would result in an unacceptable loss of daylight to habitable rooms of the adjoining neighbouring property of 27, Ridgway and as such is contrary to the provisions of Policy DPS6 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan, First Review, Adopted December 2005 and adopted Technical Guidance: Extensions and Alterations: A Design Guide of Householders.
