Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - SB/06/00826/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The garage by reasons of its siting, design, scale and facing materials is unsympathetic to the design and appearance of the surrounding dwellings and represents an incongruous feature, harmful to the visual amenities of the area and detrimental to the appearance of the street scene, contrary to Policy 10 of the Bedfordshire Structure Plan 2011 and Policies H8 and BE8 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
2) The garage, by reasons of its scale and siting would obstruct the visibility of the drivers exiting the site and that of the drivers approaching the site from the north. This would prejudice the safety of road users and is therefore contrary to Policy T1 of the South Bedfordshire Local Plan Review.
