Conditions or Reasons for Planning Application - MB/08/01316/FULL
Conditions or Reasons:
1) The proposed development does not make adequate provision for the parking of vehicles clear of the highway and this would be to the detriment of the safety and convenience to users of the public highway and as such the proposal is contrary to Policies DPS5 and DPS10 of the Mid Bedfordshire Local Plan First Review.
2) The proposed development will appear as being visually intrusive in the street scene and have an adverse impact on the character and appearance of this attractive and historic row of cottages which will be to the detriment of the visual amenities of the area. This will be in conflict with Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Policies DPS5 and H06.
3) The applicant has failed to submit a signed and agreed Unilateral Undertaking and as such the proposed development is in conflict with Mid Beds District Council's Adopted Planning Obligations Strategy February 2008 in respect of new dwellings as well as Policies DPS1 and DPS2 of the Mid Beds Local Plan First Review Adopted 2005.
